Hi! I am Taylor Maude Love (she/they) a Black, white, Filipino, and Indigenous, multiethnic, queer American from Los Angeles, California and currently residing on Canarsie/Lenape land (aka Brooklyn, NY). I am a space holder, healer, and full spectrum doula who is passionate about somatic healing and bringing people together to create expansive spaces of trust and care. As an abolitionist, I advocate for the liberation of all oppressed people through interactions with my support offerings, education, art, love, & community. I love to approach my work with curiosity, prioritization of pleasure, and client-centered care.
My beliefs and values are informed by my degree in Critical Race and Ethnic Studies, Legal Studies, and Education from UC Santa Cruz, my ancestors, spirituality, my experiences as a mixed person of color, as a sister, a learner, and community member. Throughout my childhood and beyond, I have always been fascinated with pregnancy, childbirth, and infants. Coming from a lineage of women who cared for and supported generations, I seek to continue and transform this legacy in reciprocal, consensual, and sustainable ways.
“We need to learn how to practice love such that care-for ourselves and others-is understood as political resistance and cultivating resilience.”

My journey as a space holder
All of my interests have led me to connecting with and working with families in varying roles for the past 10 years through childcare, birth, and postpartum support. In 2024, I worked as a full spectrum doula within a grant funded program in New York City to provide free, ongoing full spectrum doula support to people who were pregnant or postpartum and facing housing insecurity or had a history of incarceration. We also offered our services to birthing people who were incarcerated at Rikers Island Correctional Facility twice a week. In my time as a full spectrum doula and childcare provider, I have connected with families from a wide array of backgrounds.
Seeing the ways in which support and care can transform birthing and parenting outcomes drives me to return to this work again and again.
In addition to my connections with parents and families, I foster connections with individuals inside and outside of my community through Somatic Sound Meditation offerings. Through my full spectrum doula & meditation offerings, I have expanded upon my interests in the body (through somatics), health, and wellness.
Synergy Support Space is where I find a home for my offerings and where you can find a home in receiving the support you have always deserved…

My healing journey
As a survivor of varying degrees of trauma, my work is deeply informed by my own healing. Far too often, we hear of healers and space holders neglecting their own healing, experiencing burnout, projection, pouring from an empty cup. I believe in the importance of working with healers who carve out the time and space to receive the healing they spend so much time giving to others. In the spirit of transparency, some of the spaces in which I am held and receive healing care include 1:1 somatic therapy, acupuncture treatments, chiropractic care, yoga and movement, thai yoga massage, singing, dancing, spending time in nature, and varying forms of care through community engagement. I have spent years (and will continue to do so) building and sustaining a community that holds me accountable and supports me so that I can support you. This is an ongoing practice that I return to again and again to ensure my offerings are honest, grounded, socially conscious, trauma-informed, and full of warmth & care.
